Hey there! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Monica Brown, a wedding photographer from Indianapolis who loves to celebrate couples & photographers. I hope you enjoy browsing through recent work, advice for brides & photographers, and taking a peek into our personal life!
This is the very first Throwback Thursday blog post (wooh!!) and it’s a magical one at that. Keep checking in every Thursday as we share more throwbacks with you! Since I just started blogging last week, we have several weddings, engagements and portraits from the past year you won’t want to miss!
This Throwback Thursday features two people near and dear to my heart- Liz and Justin Glass. Theses two had the MOST magical garden elopement this past October (you’ll see what I mean as you scroll through)! This was my first elopement to photograph or attended. I was completely enamored by the intimate, relaxed atmosphere. So much thought and creativity went into each floral arrangement, their seven course meal, and the thriving garden we were tucked away in. I felt incredibly honored to photograph their special day as they were surrounded by their immediate families.
Liz has been one of my close friends for a few years now. We met our freshman year of college , but we didn’t really get to know each other until we lived together our junior and senior year (with six other hooligans- it was a blast!). Justin and Liz have quite the love story and to say this wedding day was a long time coming would be an understatement. They dated for seven long years, most of the time thousands of miles apart while Justin was deployed to various places around the world with the Marines. Their wedding was not only a joyous celebration of marriage, but a celebration of finally being in the same place together! We couldn’t be happier for them!! Next week marks their six month anniversary so enjoy this throwback to their very magical day 🙂 You can also check out their wedding video here
