I had so much fun with the Jenkins family! I actually worked with ShaTerra on my very first styled shoot when she did our model’s hair and makeup so I was really looking forward to taking their family pictures when we starting coordinating. We met at Carriage Hill Metro Park and when we pulled up, there was a little fair in the parking lot. Naturally, I had to snag a few pictures of the cute miniature ponies. We strolled the property, stopping every few minutes for pictures, and it was a beautiful day! ShaTerra’s dad also tagged along for a few picture and it was really sweet to watch her boys interact with him- you can tell they love their grandpa time!

Growing up with two brothers, I know that boys are playful, rowdy, and extremely silly at times. One of the main reasons why I love family sessions so much is because it’s just complete chaos- kids are unpredictable and typically don’t love pictures so it always feels like an achievement at the end of a family session when we got the shots we were hoping for AND everyone had fun!
