It’s fall and all the leaves are still crisp yellows and reds so naturally it’s the perfect time of year for engagement sessions! It was also drizzling off and on and you could hear the faint sound of thunder throughout Matt & Ashlee’s entire engagement session. I think we were all on edge because at any moment it could have down poured on us! But, thankfully, that didn’t happen 🙂
Ashlee & Matt ventured to our neck of the woods and the four of us wandered around Hueston Woods State park AND a strangers yard (oops) because they had a STUNNING yellow tree right by the road. I love when our couples trust my crazy ideas and I’m so glad they did because they turned out to be some of my favorite images from their session! I also love that Drew got to come to this engagement session. We always try to work it out that he can be there to get some more images, but more importantly, get to know our couples. The hands down best part of this job is the relationships we get to have with our couples.
Photographing couples like Ashlee and Matt reminds me why I love my job so much. They are fun, easy-going, kind people. They have a love and adoration for each other (and their cute puppy!) that you can see from a mile away. These beautiful humans will be all over the blog again November 2018 for their wedding day, but until then, I hope you enjoy browsing through their fall session!
