Claire and Michael are married!!

Their downtown Cincinnati wedding was stunning and we couldn’t be happier for these two!

I first met Claire in high school at swim team practice. She was a senior when I was a freshman and one of the upperclassman who everyone looked up to. She was kind, silly, and really enjoyable to be around. All of that (and more) are true of her to this day! Since getting to know Claire and Michael more in this season of life, I particularly love their adventurous & spontaneous spirits. On their wedding day there was a race going on across the street from their venue and they spontaneously ran, in their wedding gear, across the finish line! This resulted in everyone around cheering at the top of their lungs and Claire & Michael getting awarded metals! And to top it off these two lovebirds are roaming Iceland in a camper van for their honeymoon…does it get any better??

While being adventurous, fun, & spontaneous, they are also both incredibly kind and intentional.

All of these qualities were so evident throughout their entire day! Like when they distributed communion to all their guests during their ceremony or when they did a “first scoop” of Graeter’s ice cream instead of cutting cake. Michael did a parachute toss (with a Skyline gift card I may add!) for all the single men instead of a garter toss. These qualities were also extremely evident in the speeches given by Claire’s dad, Michael’s brother/best man, and Claire’s sister/maid of honor just how fun, kind, and intentional both Claire and Michael are. Her dad’s speech had ALL of us in tears by the end of it!! Needless to say, these two are easy to celebrate!

The day started in Claire and Michael’s home. They’ve been fixing it up and it gives me a serious case of #housegoals. I love how personal the morning felt getting ready in a place that already has and will continue to hold so many precious memories to them!

Off the the ceremony! 

We made a quick pit stop at Hotel Covington to snag a few pictures and then they proceeded to run through the end of a race across the street…

Right after getting metals, Claire & Michael had their grand entrance, sliding down the stair railing!!!

Both Claire and Michael’s parents had the same first dance at their wedding (what are the odds of that!?) so they played it in dedication of them- it was so sweet!!

Claire when to Xavier so they threw up an “X” in honor of their alma mater. Below you’ll see just a few of their friends who have/will get married in 2018 and a mini Fairmont High School reunion 🙂

Last but not least, it was SO fun to see 3 (we missed Lauren!) of our MBP couples at this wedding! We love them all!!
