2018 Wedding Season Recap

I feel like I say this every year but it truly feels like I blinked and 2018 happened. Probably because SO MUCH happened this past year! We moved the day before our second wedding season started and felt like we hit the ground running. It’s been a BUSY year but full of so many good things! I’m honestly just in awe of what the Lord did/how He provided in both our business and our personal lives since last May!

You’re probably wondering why, at the end of March, I’m sharing a recap of our wedding season when the next one is right around the corner.

My answer: life happens and I’m just now getting to this. Even though our 2019 season starts in less than 1 month, I still want to share our work and the incredible couples we go to cerebrate with last year! You can check out each individual wedding blog post but I’m excited to share my compiled favorite images from our 2018 season!

As I think back through this year all the special couples we had the opportunity to document, I just feel flat out grateful.

I’m grateful…

  • that you’re here, reading this post and along this journey with us!
  • for the INCREDIBLE couples and vendors who have become sweet friends!
  • this is my dream job and helps me provide for our family in the process.
  • for Drew and that he enjoys/is able to shoot with me during this season of our lives.
  • we get to shoot destination weddings because traveling brings me SO much joy!
  • that wedding cake/dessert gives me a second wind during receptions 🙂
  • our transition moving to Indianapolis from Ohio went smoothly. Like any transition there were some bumps in the road (literally- pot holes here at THE WORST) but all in all we’ve really felt so welcomed here and I can confidently call it “home” now!
  • we have a lot to look forward to as we enter our upcoming wedding season!

Did I mention I was grateful? haha.

This list could honestly go on and on but for your sake, I’ll keep it to that. This year definitely hasn’t been all rainbows and unicorns, we’ve had a lot of growing pains and “come to Jesus” moments, but it makes me appreciate the good things all the more. I can’t wait to see all the hills & valleys, sweet couples & friends that are part of our journey in 2019 + beyond!

Hope you enjoy this recap of some of our favorite 2018 wedding images!
