Tasteful Touches of Fall for the Classic Couple | Laurel Hall Wedding Inspiration

“For health and food, for love and friends, for everything thy goodness sends, we are thankful.” We have fallen in love with the tastefully placed pumpkins and vibrant elegance at Laurel Hall. Catherine Barber Weddings intentionally gathered 30+ vendors to pair the fall season with pieces of Indianapolis, Indiana. I’m excited to share these tasteful touches of fall for some wedding inspiration for any classic couple couple out there!

A few of my favorite details that I wanted to point out:

  • We burned our favorite pumpkin spice candle by Back Porch Studios throughout the day. I highly recommend this for brides!! Find a scent you love, burn it while you’re getting ready and in the future when you burn it, the scent will bring you right back to your special day.
  • You’ll find many nods to the season throughout the details like the leaves and a pumpkin tucked in their “E” wedding crest. The crest by Little Fox Paperie created a cohesive aesthetic on the invitation suite, hotel boxes, macarons and more! We also highlighted our favorite steps of Laurel Hall on the invitation envelope liner. Incorporating your venue into your invitation can be such a fun detail!
  • The hotel gift boxes included local Indiana soap company soap, Carmel, IN candle, local Revival Food Co. nut butter, and pumpkin spice popcorn, and a water bottle. Gift boxes are always a favorite for out of town guests! What better way to make them feel welcome and a sweet way to showcase some of your favorite things!
  • Monogram on the signature reception latte. I loved this unique detail, especially for all the coffee lovers out there!
  • We had the talented Jennifer as a live artist to come paint the stunning bouquet Pomp & Bloom created which perfectly captured autumn’s vibrant colors. This is something you could hang in your new home after the big day!
  • The gorgeous 18K white gold ring featuring an absolutely stunning 1.22ct L’Amour Diamond. Moyer Fine Jewelers does it right! Any Indiana couples- we seriously can’t recommend them enough for all your ring needs.
  • The elegant long sleeve lace gowns and cathedral veil from Wedding Studio Carmel. I love long sleeve dresses because its so timeless! Whether you have a brisk or warm fall day, a soft, chantilly lace is perfect as it is totally breathable if the day ends up being warm.
  • The reception desserts featured an array of vanilla cheesecake, apple pie, bundt cake, s’mores, and caramel dipped apples by Sweet Sisters Indy. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Everything about this day gave us all the fall feels! Hope you enjoy!!

Stay tuned for our upcoming feature on Wedding Day Magazine!
