Oxford Engagement Session: Allyson and Stuart

This was one of my favorite engagement sessions  because it felt like an adventurous double date. Drew doesn’t always get to tag along for engagement sessions, but he did for this one and it was so much fun to have him there! Drew actually met both Allyson and Stuart before I knew either of them so it was great for us to catch up and hear about what’s  happening in each other’s lives over the next few months. PLUS we went to one of my all-time fav spots on this planet- what a win!

We started out at Farmer School of Business at Miami University. For better or worse, that building holds a lot of history for these two. Those walls contain memories of four years of classes, lunch dates, ministry meetings, and cramming for tests. After a walk down memory lane, we headed to Hueston Woods,which is located right outside of Oxford. There are a few mini waterfalls and even though the water was cold, we all hopped in and walked along the stream. Side note: Have you ever had a foot freeze? It’s like a brain freeze- just in your feet. That was the condition of our feet that morning haha. As you can see from the two locations they chose, these two are a great combination of classy and adventurous. Pretty wild that their August wedding will be here before we know it!
