Melanie and Josh get married

in t-minus 4 days!!!

In the spirit of celebrating their wedding week, we’re doing a throw back to their fall engagement session. We are SO excited for these two college sweethearts as they step into the covenant of marriage! I met Melanie our freshman year of high school in class council and we’ve been good friends ever since. Whenever Melanie is around, you’re guaranteed to laugh and leave feeling encouraged. As we graduated and went to separate colleges, we kept in touch to hear about what was happening in our lives, how we were growing in our faiths, and eventually about the men in our life. It was so special to have her at our wedding last summer and I’m so excited the tables have turned!

I had heard (all good things) about Josh before their session, but I was gearing up for a full blown interrogation (the classic initiation for all the men who date my friends) because I wanted to know who this dude was that was about to marry Mel. When Drew and I met Josh for the first time (during their engagement session), we had so much fun interacting with him and watching how he treated Melanie. Their playful spirits and adoration for each other were SO evident. Drew and I immediately felt comfortable around them and jokes were cracked the entire sessions. I couldn’t be happier for Melanie and Josh! Also, the fall day at Huffman Metro Park could not have been more perfect.
