Hey there! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Monica Brown, a wedding photographer from Indianapolis who loves to celebrate couples & photographers. I hope you enjoy browsing through recent work, advice for brides & photographers, and taking a peek into our personal life!
If I’m being completely honest…it looked “a lot like Christmas” the weekend before Thanksgiving (oops) at the Brown household and I’m not complaining about it one bit 🙂 Christmas is one of my favorite holidays so it never feels like a chore to decorate for. Although, to me, I don’t think it’s ever felt like a chore. This year feels extra bittersweet because it’s our last one in Oxford before we move (location TBD) when Drew finishes grad school in May. I’m trying to soak up all the sweet (and not so sweet because #reallife) memories & festivities of this holiday season. We have SO many things to be grateful for!! Something I’m extra grateful for is our home & how we’ve been able to use it these past two years. For all your apartment dwellers out there…here’s some Christmas inspo…
Please notice that half of the tree lights are burnt out & the crooked star. We’ll hopefully fix those…but probably not until next year haha. Although, I’m REALLY hoping I can convince Drew to get a real Christmas tree next year 🙂
Some of our all time favorite ornaments 🙂 Go Bucks!
Freshman year of college I worked at Victoria’s Secret (I actually loved working there haha) during my summer & Christmas break. As a result, I inherited one of the display Christmas trees that was getting thrown away. It’s one of my favorite decorations AND it was free- score!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
