Hey there! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Monica Brown, a wedding photographer from Indianapolis who loves to celebrate couples & photographers. I hope you enjoy browsing through recent work, advice for brides & photographers, and taking a peek into our personal life!
This past June while we were on vacation in Maine, I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding with the talented Trina Dinnar Photography! I had a great time working with Trina and am so thankful I got to experience a Maine wedding. I hope to again someday 🙂
Paige and Miah were such a sweet couple and I loved how many special details they incorporated into their day! Their intimate ceremony took place at Paige’s parent’s house which had the perfect overlook of Sebago Lake. After they were pronounced “husband & wife”, everyone traveled to the reception where they were joined by more family and friends at The Stone Barn at Sebago Lake. The venue located on Saint Joseph College’s campus in Standish Maine was absolutely stunning!!
I particularly loved how Paige & Miah incorporated acetic China plates and honey jars as party favors for their guests! This may sound odd, but documenting the food was one of my highlights! They had the most epic and most beautiful charcuterie board I’ve ever seen for appetizers! Keep scrolling to see what I mean below!! Everyone enjoyed family style dinner with clam chowder (nothing like Maine clam chowder!), boneless pork ribs, chicken piccata, scallop scampi (yum!), garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. Not to mention their beautiful cake by Bear Brook Bakery. I really can’t think of a better meal for a wedding in Maine 🙂
We then snuck away for a few sunset portraits on the water!
Maine, you sure are beautiful!!
