Susan and Eric’s fall wedding day was absolutely stunning! It was the perfect way to conclude our 2024 wedding season, as they are an incredibly thoughtful and relaxed couple. Their vendor team was also exceptional to work with (kudos to CJM for curating it so well!). As you’re looking through, you’ll see their precious daughter steals the show multiple times and is just the cutest!! Having daughters myself, I was melted in a puddle so many times over this sweet family! Here’s a bit more about this lovely couple, from the bride’s perspective:

“We first crossed paths at work in March of 2018 when Eric was in residency. He was in the midst of his transplant rotation, and I was working as a Registered Nurse on the organ transplant unit at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. Our daughter Clara came into the world in March 2020, right at the beginning of the Covid-19 shutdown. We share a passion for travel, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors. Having a wedding planner from the start was a game-changer for us, especially since we relocated out of state last August, making long-distance planning an added challenge.”

Just as Susan mentioned, wedding planners are worth every penny! They not only streamline the entire process for the couple and their families but also enhance the experience for other vendors. Eric thought he was just doing a first look with his bride Susan but she surprise him with daddy daughter first look first and it was the best!! Both Eric and Clara’s reactions were priceless!

Susan wore one of her grandma’s bracelets and her other grandma’s wedding bands. She has a special ring for her daughter and the pin on her florals were also a family heirloom. I love that she incorporated all these sweet details!!

Susan’s first look with her dad was so sweet!! All the tears!

Sweet Clara stole the show with her flower girl entrance!! She did AMAZING throwing all the petals down and wanted to start cleaning them up once she got to her daddy haha.

When you have an epic getaway car and the rain makes it all the more magical!
