Hello there! This has got to be one of my favorite posts to date because it’s packed with behind the scene shots from our 2018 wedding season! This gives you a little insight to what wedding days look like and will help you know…

what you can expect from us on your wedding day:

Drew will get in nice and close, but not too close, to get some dreamy veil portraits!

I’ll chat up a storm with your nephew before your ceremony

Drew will show me when he snaps a picture of you that he’s super proud of

And you’ll occasionally find me on hiding on the floor during your reception backing up your wedding images

 

Drew will pick one strand of grass that he thinks is….in the way?

Sometimes I’ll even shoot and be IN your wedding 🙂

I’ll chase off ducks who try to photobomb your portraits

And Drew will fluff your dress (he’s quite a good fluffer!)

On the rare occasions we are in and shooting a wedding, we’ll get some nice portraits of us with our family too!

You can always count on me to do a little jig during your reception!

Drew will makes silly faces testing lighting for family portraits.

Then he’ll drop your veil to get those shots that will soon hang on your wall!

Our third shooter (& Drew’s younger brother) JT, will do his classic “blue steel” look…keeping it classy as always

When your dad has a last minute question before he walks you down the isle, I’ll be there to answer!

Before your grand ceremony exit, I’ll close the doors

and Drew will poke in to make sure you’re all set

I’ll be sure to nicely ask bystanders to move out of the background when its raining and the only place we can all go for pictures is the nearby gazebo that everyone is huddled under

And we’ll be sure to snag some behind the scenes of your incredible vendors (like Mark Batke) who we absolutely love to work with!

I’ll help fasten your flower girl’s shoes

And you can always count on Drew and I for silly faces during test shots

Drew will bring you your flowers whenever you need them

And occasionally drop his pants in front of all your bridesmaids when he gets stung by a wasp… (I’m forever laughing at this hahaha) 

Once he recovers from his sting, he’ll move chairs out of the way for full bridal party pictures

And I’ll third wheel under your veil with you because who doesn’t love a good veil shot?!

You can always count on Drew to be the first one out on your dance floor…

And the go-to boutonnière fastener for your dad and groomsmen.

I’ll walk ahead of you to make sure you don’t step in mud

And lend you my winter coat so you stay warm (we’ve found that the BEST way to wear a coat while in a wedding dress in backwards!). I’ll also be sure to hold your dress to make sure you get inside smoothly

We’ll capture all your bridal party’s groovy dance moves

And your grand entrance to your reception!

Occasionally we’ll take a few test shots of us on site before I start photographing your details

and Drew will smile while shooting your First Look because ya’ll are just THE CUTEST!

You’ll see some more of JT’s cute facial expressions & he’ll be on bouquet duty too.

I’ll be sure to capture your sweet dog during your ceremony

And you can count on Drew to show your dog some love too. Needless to say, we LOVE your furry friends on your wedding day!!

And toward the end of your incredible day, we’ll always make sure we document everyone cheering to you!!
