He proposed & she said “yes, yes, yes, a million times, yes!”

Ryan and Catherine started dating their sophomore year of high school and continued to, long distance, throughout college. This day was 6.5 years in the making and it was so special.

I had so much fun collaborating with Ryan to surprise the love of his life and his perspective of their journey is so encouraging. Ryan said, “the time apart was hard but taught us a lot. We grew in our faith. We learned that love is a choice and something you have to work at. God willing, we’re FINALLY here!!”

He proposed in Eden Park, then whisked Catherine away for a delicious meal together. To Catherine’s surprise, the celebrating wasn’t over yet because after dinner they pulled up to Ryan’s parents’ home where 150 of their closest friends & family were waiting to celebrate the newly engaged couple!

We absolutely LOVED capturing this special day. This couple is so loved by God, each other, & their family and friends and that was SO evident throughout the evening. Congrats Catherine & Ryan!!

Ryan’s sisters helped set up & popped out after- it was so fun to watch their excitement for their brother and future sister-n-law 🙂
