Hey there! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Monica Brown, a wedding photographer from Indianapolis who loves to celebrate couples & photographers. I hope you enjoy browsing through recent work, advice for brides & photographers, and taking a peek into our personal life!
It’s really hard to find the words to describe what an wonderful and joyous celebration Ryan and Catherine’s wedding day was! With close to 400 guests and 24 people in their bridal party, this is the largest wedding we’ve had the honor of documenting and wow it was such an incredible day!
We first met Ryan and Catherine when we photographed their proposal! Yup, just imagine Drew hiding behind a tree and me crouching behind the stone ledge trying to be as sneaky as possible! Ryan outdid himself with the planning and execution of that beautiful day. Throughout the evening we got to know them both more and hear about the huge impact they’ve had together over the past 6.5 years. It makes me so excited to think about what the Lord will do in/through their marriage for the many years to come! Ryan and Catherine met in high school and continued dating, long distance, throughout college. Needless to say, this day has been in the making for a while! It’s so clear that they are God’s perfect provision for each other.
On another note, I’ve never seen anyone crowd surf during a wedding reception, let alone FIVE people!! It was pretty epic to say the least.  Stay tuned for their wedding video by the talented Mark Batke Creative! Be sure to scroll to the end to see what I’m talking about 🙂 I hope you enjoy re-living their special day!

I loved all the thoughtful details Ryan and Catherine incorporated into their day! Catherine wore her mother’s veil and her mother-in-law’s earrings!
So fun to have a great city view right outside the window!
A little rain didn’t scare us! Right after those images we hustled to the beautiful gazebo in the center of Washington Park. You can’t tell but we were actually several other people under the gazebo with us who were also trying to avoid the rain…thankfully they were super kind and huddled to one side so we could continue getting pictures. These STUNNING ladies were champs through it all!!
You’ll notice a theme of people going in the air 🙂
Catherine you are absolutely STUNNING!!
After this beautiful courtyard that reminded me SO much of Europe, we took a quick golf cart ride (this was such a fun idea!!) to run into the rain & get a few pictures in front of Music Hall. This bridal party was INCREDIBLE and took some for the team to get a little rain on them 🙂 #worthit
When the rain let up, we snuck back out for a few husband & wife portraits!
I love this moment of Ryan’s dad and sisters watching the mother/son dance!
Ryan’s dad, Ryan, Catherine, Madison (maid of honor) and I’m sure a few others all crowd surfed!! Here’s the proof 🙂 This was a BLAST!
CONGRATS Mr. & Mrs. Anthony!! Hope you’re having a blast in Cancun!!!
XO,
Mon
