Hey there! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Monica Brown, a wedding photographer from Indianapolis who loves to celebrate couples & photographers. I hope you enjoy browsing through recent work, advice for brides & photographers, and taking a peek into our personal life!
For engagement, branding, and family sessions I’m often asked where the best spots around Indianapolis are for pictures so I wanted to share a few of my recommendations with you!
Since we specialize in weddings, weekends are reserved solely for weddings! I shoot sessions Monday-Thursday at sunrise or sunset so we can get the best possible lighting. You can have as many outfits as you’d like but I typically recommend two total: one causal and one fancy. Check out recommendations for your session attire here!
I’ll be sure to keep this up to date as I discover more locations around Indianapolis & surrounding areas!
–Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA Newsfields) There is a $50 fee but it is 100% worth it!! This is hands down my favorite location for sessions! Check out this example
–Holcomb Gardens (tucked away on Butler University’s campus)- Some examples: Marisa & David, Steph & Jesse
–Holliday Park (here’s some examples!)
–Daubenspeck Community Nature Park
