How in the actual world is Ava one month away from being 1 years old!? We had lots of sweet family time, some terrible sickness and a whole lot of cuddles this month.

Some Highlights

-Seeing Nora & Ava’s friendship/sisterhood blossom. It just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter! And more stealing of toys/pushing is starting to happen too ha. Nora is the best big sister and loves to share her water and food with Ava all the time. Ava happily partakes ha. We pray everyday for them to be lifelong best friends!

-Lots of outdoor play this month which was awesome! We busted out the water table and Ava has been very into it!

-Gigi & Grandpa came to visit! They babysat the girls while I photographed a wedding that Drew was a groomsmen in. We are SO thankful for both sets of grandparents who love on the girls so well while we photographing weddings!!

-Lunch with great Grammy & Grampy. Of course Grammy brought fun stickers to play with too!

-Visiting Aunt Addie & (soon-to-be) Uncle Colton’s house that’s under construction. While the guys worked, us gals played. It was a really sweet day with fam!

-Definitely not a highlight, but memorable…we got hit BAD with a stomach bug and Ava threw up 7 times. We were on the verge of taking her to the ER, but thankfully she starting keepings things down. I’m SO thankful for the access with have to doctors & modern medicine and don’t take that privilege lightly!

-Ava (and especially our MVP daddy!!) was a champ as she was away from me for the longest time she’s been thus far while I was at a bachelorette party in Nashville, TN!

-Hanging with our friend Adriana!

-Nana & Pappy coming over for dinner and reading books. They sure do love them!!

Things we’ve learned

-She’s still slow in the teeth department (Nora was the exact same way). Her first tooth popped through the day after she turned 11th months and none since then ha.

-She LOVES walking with a walker and pulling up to stand on everything! I have a feeling she’ll starting walking unassisted really soon.

-She loves to give open mouth kisses and blow kisses- it’s the best!

-She loves music! She has an impressive head bop & bounce ha.

-She has a fun way of expressing her opinions…like if we put Nora’s food plate down first she makes a squeak to get hers. It cracks us up ha.

-She strongly dislikes getting cleaned off after eating and still occasionally loathes diaper changes.

-She’s still a water bug! Getting so excited for summer pool & lake time
