Hey there! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Monica Brown, a wedding photographer from Indianapolis who loves to celebrate couples & photographers. I hope you enjoy browsing through recent work, advice for brides & photographers, and taking a peek into our personal life!
Since summer has started and we’re about to hit our one year anniversary, I’ve been doing all sorts of reminiscing. Last summer was my favorite yet! Don’t get me wrong, I’m so excited for everything summer 2017 has in store (Drew’s birthday celebrations, we’re celebrate our one year anniversary with a long weekend trip, Colorado for 9 days in July, & we’re photographing our first full season of weddings!), but it’s pretty hard to pass up getting married, celebrating one of my best friends getting married, our honeymoon, two family vacations and three weeks of just hanging at home and settling into married life before starting work. So, for now…let’s just take a little trip down memory lane to a few highlights from my favorite summer to date….
A week after our honeymoon, all 7 of us Browns loaded up the Sequoia (also known as “the tank”) and road tripped to Maine! We spent 8 days there then Drew and I flew to Atlanta, Georgia for the biannual Wagner reunion. In Maine there were 9 Browns/Pollocks for 8 days while Georgia was 32 Wagners for 4 days. We definitely had a packed summer, but man was it fun!!
Go-Pro video of our Maine trip by our brother Justin & the pictures are a combo of mine + our sister Addie!
I have a sister now!!!!!
Grandma & Grandpa Pollock are the sweetest! I’ve loved gaining more grandparents!
Say hello to the Brown family moped gang haha. These were SO MUCH FUN to ride around Acadia National Park!
This was our reenactment for the 2017 Brown fam Christmas Card…LOL. Nailed it.
First time flying as husband & wife calls for a low quality iphone picture! Anddd (besides first class) who the heck gets that much leg room anymore?!
Missing a few, but this is most of my dad’s side! We shared lots of meals together, learned about our family history (thanks Aunt Janet!), played cornhole, ping-pong, R.I.S.K, hiked some of the Application trail, and hung out. It was so relaxing and refreshing to be with family!
Say hello to my brothers!
practicing 😉
We loved these vacations & time with our families! Can’t wait for more throughout this next summer!
XOXO
