Mr. & Mrs. Phillips | Geist Community Church Indianapolis Wedding

Dustin & Kristen are MARRIED!! Despite the coronavirus and crazy weather, these two made the very best of their day! It ending up being super peaceful, joyful and full of hand sanitizer!

Since they had a 10am wedding ceremony, we had an earlier start which also meant an earlier end time than usual. This allowed the four of us (Kristen, Dustin, Drew, and I) to headed to Fort Harrison State Park for more portraits of just the two of them following their send off. By that time, the snow had been coming down for a few hours and was still actively snowing… it looked pretty magical!! Kristen said, “I always wanted a winter wedding” and I’m so glad she got what she wanted!

These two are funny, kind, and easy-going which makes them easy to love! This was especially evident when all members of their bridal party shared their speeches. Without further ado, I’m excited to share their day with you. It was such an honor to document and we couldn’t be more excited for this sweet couple as they start their marriage!! Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Phillips!!

I was too excited to wait to share these pictures until the end of this post (although that’s chronologically when they happened) so here’s some of the snow MAGIC the Lord provided!!
They led the worship and it was absolutely beautiful! I got SO many goosebumps throughout the three songs they led their loved ones through.
It was so fun to see how HYPED they were when coming down the isle!!
Lots and lots of hand sanitizer was applied!!
Their parent dances were so sweet! It didn’t seem like there was a dry eye (including Kristen’s dad’s) in the room during the Father/Daughter Dance. On the other hand, Dustin and his mom had everyone cracking up throughout their dance!

Until next time friends!

Beautiful pictures! All the pictures are just gorgeous. However, the ones out in the snow are my favorite. Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures of a very, very special day for our families.

    Monica and Drew –

Thank you so much for capturing these special moments with Dustin and Kristen. We really didn’t know how the day was going to unfold weather-wise at all as we went from dry to wet to snow throughout the morning and early afternoon. Your calmness and encouragement that everything would be fine was so reassuring to this mom of the bride!

Your photos captured the essence of D&K so well… The serious and playful moments. That is who they are! I am so glad they chose you to photograph this very special day in their lives.

Blessings to you and your family… Always!
