Hey there! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Monica Brown, a wedding photographer from Indianapolis who loves to celebrate couples & photographers. I hope you enjoy browsing through recent work, advice for brides & photographers, and taking a peek into our personal life!
Travis and Meredith had a stunning spring wedding at the quaint Barn at Bay Horse Inn in Greenwood, Indiana. Their beautiful wedding was truly such a beautiful celebration of their love for each other and for God! Even though it was pretty chilly outside, the pops of blue, blush pink and bursting flowers could have fooled us all that it was in fact a warm spring day. Despite the temperature, these two were naturals in front of the camera once again (peep their fall engagement session) because they are so natural together and that came to life again for their wedding!
“Last April, Meredith and Travis matched on a dating app and soon found themselves on their first date at a coffee shop in Zionsville, IN. After walking and talking for three hours, they determined that they’d like to go out together again. “How about tomorrow? For Easter dinner with my friends and colleagues?” Travis asked. In spite of the unusual nature of this second date invitation, Meredith agreed and they had a great time getting to know each other around his work community. On date number three, they went on a hike at Eagle Creek and Travis asked Meredith if she would be willing to read a book with him. “What book?” she asked. “101 Questions to Ask Before You Get Engaged.” (Cue mild freak-out for Meredith!) A week later, per her invitation, Travis joined Meredith and her parents at their church and afterward at their house for lunch… and then he stayed for dinner too. After about a 12 hour marathon of getting to know one another, Travis left and Meredith started freaking out a little more. Following some honest conversations about the speed at which this relationship was developing and how this was very real for both of them, they began going through the engagement book questions and spending time together every week. On their 5th date, the two went duckpin bowling in Fountain Square, Indianapolis and had a very futuristic conversation. As things heated up — with the summer heat that is — they spent a lot of weekends together with their families, out on the water, on both sides’ family vacations, and experienced many of the joys and challenges of daily life together. On August 26th, against the beautiful backdrop of a Pentwater, Michigan sunset, Travis knelt down on one knee and asked Meredith to be his wife. She said “Yes!” and with grateful hearts, Travis and Meredith began to dream even more about what the future would hold for them.”
